NEW SADE ALBUM TO BE RELEASED IN 2009

Sony Music has confirmed that the new Sade album will be released early next year. Her latest studio album "Lovers Rock" was released in 2000 and although it wasn't as great as "Love Deluxe" (1992) we still loved it to death.

"Smooth Operator " was released in 1984 (25 years ago already) and Sade will celebrate her 50th birthday (can you believe it) next year as well.

Of course we will keep you updated on this sensational come-back.

Trey Day (literally)

So the other day Trey Songz was in da building and LET ME TELL U... dis dude wasn't what I expected. First let me say I adore Trey and I'm constantly posting his music and I will continue to support his career BUT like I said da dude wasnt what I expected. His southern accent drive me crazy (in a bad way) and it was very strong. Now with some ppl I expect dat (Souljah Boy, Gucci Mane, etc.), but Trey has been in da game 2 long 2 still have an accent that strong. Come on now even Rihanna's accent isn't present anymore!!! And to top it off he was a slow mover and to mix dat wit my NY state of mind I was bound to be irritated. The interview was what made me start liking him. Our jock Pooch asked him did he like the new Pleasure P record and he responds "Trey Songz only talk about Trey Songz" now dis had me cracking up. Dat moment was very Kanye and u know how I LOVE me some 'Ye. Then Pooch asked "R u willing to do a tv show cuz Ray J is doing big things with his joint" Trey responds by saying "Dat nigga only doing big things on tv". My mouth was agape and da whole studio look at him in shock! Dis mutha f'er is da R&B version of Kanye it's official and on a personal level I LOVE him for keeping it 100, but on a professional level as a PR major he should have kept his comments to himself. I also loved how he made sure every fan had an autograph and a picture and he had lil convos with most of them. Yesterday was vvveeerrrryyyyy long, but I loved the hustle and bustle. I love meeting fans and seeing them so excited and crying, because that once was me before I got into the biz so I can relate. And thats my Trey Songz story. I love his music, love his fans, love his personality, and hate his accent. THE END lol

I currently a new member of da 20 yr. old club and da other day when I met another member of the club, Que (Day 26), and he had dis POPPIN tattoo dat I adored on his ear. He told me it didn't hurt it just felt like a needle on his ear. After a lil more chit chat about da tat it definitely inspired me to get a tat in da same spot, but mine will be a music note. I plan on getting it as soon as I'm done school so it can be a gift to myself =]

Dear Ladies,

.:deep breathe:. I never blog about my personal life (unless it deals wit my career), but I'm gonna give u guys a piece of me.

So heres da background I've been dealing with this guy for the past 4 months and I feel like we havent made ANY progress since we expressed our feelings to each other in Janurary. On Wednesday I stuck my neck out for LAST time. We had just talked 30 minutes prior and in dat convo I told him I was going to be in his neighborhood so b sure to expect a call from me so dat we could rock out for a lil bit. I call 30 minutes laterno answer. I text no response. So I think Damn why am I always putting myself out there for dis dude and what has he done for me? The answer: Cuz I find his hustle state of mind attractive and NOT A DAMN THING. So what's a girl to do? I kept it moving and chilled with a gentlemen. Though my heart is more attached to da 1st dude it was obvious that his heart wasn't attached to mine. I blog about dis to say LADIES KNOW WHAT YOUR WORTH! If I would have went to boy #1's house dat night I would have made a MAJOR mistake. Dat dude has been a cool friend, but when it comes to taking steps toward being a true companion HE SUCKED! Da most he's ever done 4 me is pay 4 a meal at McDonalds. But gentlemen number 2 he was worth my time! In da past he's made me dinner, rubbed my back, respected my body, and so on. He put in da work, so he's worth my time (at the least). I feel that the only thing more valuable then my time is my body and if a dude puts in the effort he atleast deserves my time.
My advice: "Don't even entertain a dudes presence unless he fits your criteria." What my criteria? Well it depends on da situation, but for the most part it's respect and itellenegce. For example if you first meet me and say "Hello" or "How are you" instead of "YO" or "What poppin" you gain more time, because you have sense to use proper English (intelligence). If you curse around me you lose time because I find it disrespectful. Just know your worth ladies. I am a queen and everyday my stock raises!!!

So where have I been?
Well Last week I didn't have any wireless interent in my house cuz our router was JACKED UP! Then on Sunday my grandfather passed away so I've been with my family supporting them. He just wrapped a show out in Philly (in which he was the leading role) and now he'll be featured in the HBO series "Brave New Voices". It premieres on HBO April 5.
