My question is why would Trey make a video for "Brand New"? Don't get it twisted I love his music, da video is kool (da ending is PIMPIN), da song is kool, but it's not a SMASH! I want more for dis dude than BET and MTV Jams. I want to see him become the superstar that I know he's capable of being and it's frustrating to see dis go down. Why I Don't Like Ryan Leslie's CD
If you know me personally, you know I ADORE Ryan Leslie. While in his presence at the Music Conference brunch I was speechless. Mind you I went up 2 Oscar award winning Jamie Foxx and we CHOPPED IT UP! But when I was around R. Les the words couldn't come out. I was totally speechless.
I tell that story to prove that what I'm about to say is NOT hating. I respect Ryan Leslie as an artist and an entrepreneur, but I didn't feel his CD.
I've been rocking out wit R. Les since last summer so when I got his CD I was hurt. Don't get me wrong his CD isn't bad, but as a fan of Ryan Leslie I was expecting the type of songs that were on the playlist below. When I hear "Promise Not To Call" I can relate cause I've been there. "R U Coming Back" made me want to help Ryan find his girl. When I first heard "Lay U Down" I wanted to make love, but I'm abstinent so that couldn't happen lol. Do you get what I'm saying? You hear a song and you're deeply connected to the lyrics! That's what I expected to feel when I brought Ryan Leslies CD and I didn't feel that way =( which is why I'm not a big fan of his latest LP. But I still admire is work ethic and music skills. I'm NOT hating I'm just saying I didn't feel connected to the CD. I hate to say it but it seemed like a formula and my heart didn't feel connected to the formula.

Remember When Busta Rhymes Had Dreads?
Seems like his ability to sell records were cut short when he cut those dreads off. Back in da 90's and ealry 00's he was SSSOOOOOO different you jus had to resepect him (for da lil ones reading he was like a Kanye minus the asshole attitude dat I love lol). It is also no secret that you're coming out with a new CD and you're name doesn't ring as many bells as it did 5 years ago. It's rare that an artist that has sold as many records as u still does radio promo, BUT you are!!! I just find it strange that's all. Though I'm not your biggest fan and/or supporter I do wish you the best and send you positive energy.

6 Degrees From Kanye
so last night i finally watched Kanye Storytellers at 5 am cuz I never have the time during the day and I thought o0o SNAP!!! I'm less than 6 degrees or seperation from the homie. I work in the industry, and I don't get star struck BUT I PROMISE YOU if Kanye walked the doors of any building I was in I may lose it mentally. How I feel 4 Kanye is how Charles feels for Rihanna. ok ok ok mayb that was a bad example cuz I don't want Kanye to be my man, but in my head his like a big brother to me.
So I'm hype ccuz like I said inh real life I'm less than 6 degrees of sepration from Ye.

It's Kevin!!!! A while back he invited me n my BFF Antonio to see him perform so I let my Mom and Step Dad tag along. He's a regular humorous guy, but once he got on stage I never laughed so hard. To make matters better my mom adores Kev so I introduced them. I'll never forget how she was freaking when it happened. If he's in your town it's worth it to see him perform.
