About a year ago my buddy told me he was making a song with J.Cole and I looked him up, but it never went any farther than that. I have yet to listen to any of his mixtapes and all I know is his verse in "Everyday A Star is Born" and "All I Want Is You". After I saw him perform live that will soon change. I'm not saying J.Cole is newest favorite rapper, but I defiantly gained more respect for him. Jay-Z taught him well about stage presence.

Since my 1st post, back in January of 2009, he has co-written the hit "If You Leave" by Musiq n Mary J. and he played a key role in User's newest album Raymond Vs. Raymond. Not only is he a dope songwriter/singer, he also has such a delightful eclectic spirit.

School is OVERRRR n I got a good job booked so I couldn't think of an even greater way 2 start up the blog 4 the summer season than 2 talk about my fav artist n da whole wide world, Kanye West and his next album Good Ass Job. Below r some articles about the new album and my fav song by Mr.West, "Peace".

Despite previous indications that it would drop in June, new reports reveal that Kanye West's next projects might not hit stores until September.

According to TheHipHopUpdate.com, Ye's album, tentatively titled Good-Ass Job, may be pushed back to the fall release date. The report comes from an attendee at the Island Def Jam Grammy U. event on Wednesday (May 12). No further specifics were given regarding the release date, though it appears that the album certainly won't be dropping next month.

Other tidbits from the event revealed a September release date for Ne-Yo, and that Los Angeles rapper Y.G. "will be a focus of Def Jam in the near future."

Details remain scarce about Kanye West's Good Ass Job, but apparently it is his best hip-hop record yet. At least, that's what Drake implied in an interview with GQ Magazine. And it's likely that Yeezy is making his return to hip-hop and leaving the Auto-Tune behind after 808s & Heartbreaks. But don't be surprised if the vocal effect makes an appearance here or there as it's been featured on every one of his albums in some way or another. Good Ass Job, which finishes Kanye's "college series," is set to feature Big Sean, who confirmed his guest spot via Twitter. It's also likely we'll see frequent collaborators like Common and Mos Def along with newcomers such as Drake and KiD CuDi. The album will also include beats from outside producers, something West had done before. You really need to know Fonzworth Bentley. Every time I need inspiration I read a refreshing article about him in Giant Mag (written by Emil Wilbekin). The article basically gives you a run down on his life.

Perhaps the most inspiring part of the article was when he explained his persistence. From networking throughout NYC he met Diddy. Eventually Diddy gave Bentley the number to his two way pager (THROW BACK lol), but Bentley didn't utilize the contact right away. When Diddy was going through the trial from the 1999 shooting Bentley would send him Bible verses and Puff would always respond Thank You.

On a day he was sent home early from his restaurant gig for being late, (Bentley) knew he couldn't go back. "I two way'd Puff: I know you're busy, but I need to talk to you.' I never knew Debra Lee's story so it was interesting find out that she wanted to pursue a career in government/law. I can keep it real with ya'll right?!? I've been going on this CRAZY soul searching journey for the past 3 months. Been thinking about getting out of music biz n studying to become an elementary teacher... YES! That's how deep it was Gosh By Gollyers. I started to HATE music entirely and I couldnt see myself being in this crazy biz dealing with all this madness when Im 30 n want kids n stuff. My love turned into hate because I felt like the biz had turned its back on me. It was like a very bad break up. I wont get into details, but a lot of companies and a few people I worked with began 2 give me the cold shoulder. I adore music it's my 1st love, but the business side can get ugly. Its a lot of shaddy ppl that want to shake your hand when your at the top and ignore your calls when your at the bottom and that's not me as a person. I didnt wanna transform into that jerk exec. On top of that its very hard to have a life outside of the music biz especially when you're on the come up cause "There's always somebody in life trynna take your spot". I just realized all this madness is what made me fall out of love with music. It was bad to the point where I wouldnt watch MTV Jams or anything. I used to google new music everyday. Da last time I looked up new music on a daily basis was in September. Im telling yall I'm going through it! In while all this was going down I was going through a bad break up and I was stressed about my finances n school. But in this crazy journey I got 2 rock out in the studio with my homies B.Hines C. Hines n Ant. They just gave me sooo much love and reminded me that there are good ppl in this industry. Da fellas r also proof that you dont have to become an asshole to have success. Those fellas prolly dont know it but that night is something I'll always appreciate. So with that I started blogging again, but then school kicked my butt n I had 2 chill but fast fwd to NOW...

I love music again, but the corporate side still rubs me the wrong way. I've become very family oriented, I realize when I dont have any1 else I will always have those knuckle heads and when no1 else can put a smile on my face they can. I think Im going to still change my major to education n keep a minor in communication next yr. I want to look into working with audio engineers. Vibe in the studio feels so much more relaxing than in da craziness of working in PR for entertainment....& now you guys know the whole truth n nothing but the truth lol.

Personally, The Dream looks like a cornball in his new video "Walking On The Moon" but HEY WAT ELSE IS NEW lol. Kanye does save Dream from his lack of coolness so it's a 2.5 out of 5 in my book. Hype Williams does his thing though. Check out his joint below
